Safaa is a teenager who firmly believes in the goodness of people but, rejected by the world around her and misunderstood by her family, chooses to embark on a journey of self-discovery and nature.
He encounters medieval festivals, ancient villages, and unspoilt forests with his fellow adventurers. He then visits southern Morocco, where he immerses himself in a different and fascinating culture, finding, through confrontation and moral enrichment, his inner harmony and the strength to face life's challenges.
In a combination of introspective narrative and continuous exchanges with the other and the new, The Girl Who Forsaken Destiny is a coming-of-age novel that shows how escape is necessary to reconnect with one's true identity: anywhere is home only if the roots of the self are firmly established.
